The gaming experience is incredible. You pilot your plane with the help of the accelerometer and use Multi-Touch to fire your weaponry and regulate your speed. The 3D graphics and sound effects create the atmosphere and the sensation of flight is astounding.

**Tip!**
For a remarkable experience connect your device to your home stereo or a pair of high quality active speakers.

Beat your friends in AirFight!
You engage in battle with a fighter in each of your iPhones, iPod touches or iPads via Wi-Fi (or iPad with the separate App ’AirFight HD’). The player with the best tactical and flying skills has the best chance of emerging victorious. There is also a single-player mode for when you want to play on your own.

A company that has developed flight simulators for the Swedish JAS Gripen fighter has helped in creating AirFight.

Choose between:
- Single-player and multi-player modes
- Two different ways of piloting your plane – arcade or simulation mode
- Three levels of difficulty
- Battery-saving or normal mode
- A variety of other features

The fighter is equipped with:
- Machine guns and homing missiles
- Orientation and information in Head Up Display

**Note**
AirFight pushes the limits for what is possible to do with the iPhone so we recomend that you run it on iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod touch gen two (or later) or iPad.
If you experience performance problems use the setting ”power save mode - on”.

Pros and cons of AirFight app for iPhone and iPad

AirFight app good for

This game has awesome graphics, very detailed and fun... However, it could use some terrain and more opponents. Also it would be awesome to have an autofire for the bullets. Other than that, its a great game
This is a true realistic dog fight sim. The control you have over your plane is amazing. You really get the sense of flight as you skim across the ocean. Great 3D free roaming dog fighter. Easily the best so far.
Pretty nice as far as graphics and aircraft control go, though scenery could be better. Flying only over the ocean gets old after a while. Also, the enemy aircraft seem to be able to execute nearly impossible manuevers, like when they in front of me and they do a 180 almost in place and come right at me. They are also very difficult to kill. All in all though a great game, it just needs more tweaking to get 5 stars.
Very good combat simulator. Needs update though. Needs new kinds of terrain. Maby like a city where you could fly in between tall buildings like New York. That would be awesome. Ill give 5 stars when its updated. Good game though.
This is a fun game to play. The concept and graphics are nice. Like somebody else mention, it needs some more stages rather only the ocean. The it is how hard to kill that it feels almost impossible.
Fun to play but needs updates like multiple jets, differnt terrain, 4 player wifi instead of just 2

Some bad moments

The game lacks any real interesting features. If youre going to just throw someone in the air and tell them to shoot stuff down, at least make the cockpit view look interesting, add terrain and give people the option of different aircraft or weapons systems. The sounds are pretty poorly done and even the missiles and guns are horribly unsatisfying when using them...they remind me of a poorly built childs toy. For the money would highly recommend looking at either HAWX or X-Plane Carrier. HAWX for amazingly realistic and engaging flight combat with a great story, X-Plane for its amazing realism in the flight and aircraft modelling.
i spent 8 bucks on this app wat a waste, i recomend if u havent already got it, go get armaggedon squadrin its 3 bones and actually pretty fun to play.
Its difficult to see the enemy planes and its really hard to shoot them down. Yes I set the game to the lowest difficulty level. The enemy planes are faster and move around with far more flexibility than you can move your target with iphone control. The game has potential to be a good one though, they need to make it a little more possible to be able lock enemy planes. Also it would be cool if the missles were smart missles that would follow the target a little and not just go in a dumn straight line.
It is deffinately not worth buying, its not worth $0.99, its extreemely hard to play
Its a cool game but the when you fire your weapons its really hard to see them. And it gets boring after a while. Definitely not worth 7.99
This is a good attempt at an air combat game, but I really like Flying Aces better.  This game does have a nice skyline, but the radar is horrible.  How on earth can you tell where the enemy is on it?  I also find the game very difficult to play.  The sound is "ok", but the guns sound like cap guns.  Missiles sound good though.
